“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.”

Hebrews 10:23

Some days, faith looks like a fire.

Other days, it looks like a flicker.

But it’s still here—because you’re still here.

You’ve been showing up—quietly, faithfully—with tears in your eyes and a sigh in your chest. While the world may never recognize that strength, Heaven sees it… and calls it holy.

Because Jesus shows up, so you do, too.

Not because you feel brave.

Not because you know what’s next.

But because you know He’s worthy.

I often find myself overwhelmed by troubles and sorrow, which seem to effortlessly defeat me. These feelings creep in quietly, like a thief in the night, stealing away my peace. The anxiety that follows can be so bitter that it leaves me feeling detached—not just from my surroundings, it feels like my entire life.

In these moments, the weight becomes heavy, pressing down as I struggle to find my way back.

There is hope. Engaging with the Word plants seeds—

Seeds you don’t even realize are growing until they bloom.

I am living my life with Christ dwelling within me.

My life has changed.

“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”

—Galatians 2:20

“Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.”

—Psalm 55:22

“And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

—Philippians 4:7

“To put off your old self… and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds… and put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.”

—Ephesians 4:22–24

Releasing control allows each small daily affirmation to lead to greater transformation.

And here’s the gift that laid the first stone:

Trusting He has it.

I don’t have to carry what He’s promised to conquer—even if I don’t see it yet.

The control I once clung to?

I’m learning to abandon it.

Sometimes, in certain circumstances, the letting go is slow…

But even then—it’s stepping forward.

It is the icing on the cake, with the burn of the candle.

It’s believing and ushering your will into His.

That’s plenitude.

Not in everything going right—

But in trusting the One who is right there with and for you.

Friend, if you’ve ever wondered if it counts—the tired prayers, the gentle worship, the getting out of bed and choosing trust again and again—let me remind you:

It counts.

Every step. Every breath. Every whispered yes that no one else sees.

And the beautiful part?

He never misses a moment.

Jesus isn’t only watching for the strong and the steady—He’s right there with the overwrought and fainthearted.

The ones who feels weak and wonders if they’re failing, again.

When you're actually holding on tighter than ever before.

You are witnessing His faithfulness.

But He is also witnessing yours.

So don’t let go now.

You’re not behind. You’re not forgotten.

You’re not less-than because you’re weary.

You are precisely the person His presence yearns to encounter:

Wounded, yet willing.

Weary, but still worshiping.

Here… and persevering.

Even when everything changes, His faithfulness remains constant.

Peace, He leaves with you. (John 14:27)

Whispered prayer:

Jesus, thank You for always showing up. Even when I feel unsure or undone, You remain faithful. Strengthen me to keep showing up, especially when it’s hard. I give You my tired hands and fragile faith today. Use them. Multiply them. Remind me that You see every quiet act of trust, and You are near to my exhausted heart. Thank You for witnessing my faithfulness—even when I don’t feel it.

I love You.

In Your Name, Amen.
