God the Son, Jesus Christ, brought command. Itโ€™s grace, and Grace is Godโ€™s ability.
The law never provided the ability. (John 1:1, 14)

All that Jesus accomplished, He did as a man full of grace. He did it by Godโ€™s grace, working in Him. (John 1:16)

The law of Moses put forward an imperfect standard, and Jesus taught Godโ€™s New Covenant was better. The New Way, the new law. The way for rest to our afflicted souls, not ๐ฆ๐จ๐ซ๐ž tormentโ€”this ๐‘ฐ๐’” ๐‘ป๐’‰๐’† ๐‘ฎ๐’๐’๐’… ๐‘ต๐’†๐’˜๐’”.

God does the work; we believe and receive.

Jesus spoke about how hard it could be for some. Why? Itโ€™s not demanding to call upon His Name to be saved and to believe in getting into Heaven. The only difficulty is who wonโ€™t accept grace (Godโ€™s ability at work in us) and righteousness as gifts.

My friends, when we depend on Jesus, The Word will work in mighty power by His grace. Jesusโ€™ yoke becomes easier to walk beside Him. (Matt. 11:30)
When we do, weโ€™re drawn into close-loving dependency. Our thoughts, efforts, and perspective revolve around His love.

Allow His grace.

Our independence is not honorable and is more heavy-laden than not.
He invites us to embrace true freedom through grace.

that love has built

and looks out the windows

which hope has opened.”
