God the Son, Jesus Christ, brought command. It’s grace, and Grace is God’s ability.
The law never provided the ability. (John 1:1, 14)

All that Jesus accomplished, He did as a man full of grace. He did it by God’s grace, working in Him. (John 1:16)

The law of Moses put forward an imperfect standard, and Jesus taught God’s New Covenant was better. The New Way, the new law. The way for rest to our afflicted souls, not 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 torment—this 𝑰𝒔 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑮𝒐𝒐𝒅 𝑵𝒆𝒘𝒔.

God does the work; we believe and receive.

Jesus spoke about how hard it could be for some. Why? It’s not demanding to call upon His Name to be saved and to believe in getting into Heaven. The only difficulty is who won’t accept grace (God’s ability at work in us) and righteousness as gifts.

My friends, when we depend on Jesus, The Word will work in mighty power by His grace. Jesus’ yoke becomes easier to walk beside Him. (Matt. 11:30)
When we do, we’re drawn into close-loving dependency. Our thoughts, efforts, and perspective revolve around His love.

Allow His grace.

Our independence is not honorable and is more heavy-laden than not.
He invites us to embrace true freedom through grace.
