Does anyone think about what the day may bring before it happens? Sometimes, I pour anxiety over the day before it even happens.

The thoughts that constantly bring you down, one notch at a time.

Typically, I wake up, grab my coffee, and pray. I thank The Lord for loving me as He does and for the faithfulness He always provides continually. I read His Word before I get ready for work each morning.

God's Words bring me life.

However, I do have periods when the thoughts in my mind can be so diminishing. It doesn't seem to matter how close you may feel you are to God and the relationship you know you have with Jesus. Some days are lost. Is that something you've experienced?

Some of you may have kiddos, and busy begins with your feet hitting the floor from your comfy bed. I still remember those times, and I miss them. I am just at the point where no children will be in our house. We have adults now. It is still an adjustment, believe it or not.

Dear friends, there are moments when I find it challenging to find my passion for anything. I wanted to share so that it might be helpful to anyone reading these words from my heart because it is a reality in this world. After all, we are not home. Gratefully, I often find that the Holy Spirit guides me right when I need it most and without my conscious awareness. I then aim to stay watchful and aware that Satan is clever enough to find the weak link to slip into my mind without being noticed.

I implore you to slow down for a minute to look within your heart to discern what is true and avoid falling prey to misleading thoughts. It's essential always to remember the significance of seeking God's presence. He is the only source of strength I can follow when I do not have it.

"Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always. Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced," (Psal 105:4-5)

I have a deep appreciation for the meanings of words. I know God does so I take pleasure in it. I feel it brings Him joy when we are mindful of His Glory that are embodied in His Words. Jesus' teaching in parables clearly illustrates it. He wants us to examine it with our hearts . The above text is in the NIV translation, the word "pronounced" is defined as meaning "voiced" or "proclaimed." Also, in this text, the judgments that are spoken by David in this Psalm convey the goodness that He promises for His children. So, you see what I mean? Does it mean more to your heart and soul when you discover the deeper meaning?

If you feel like God is far from you, don't give up on searching for Him. He is there. We are just far away from Him. Don't let your anxious and conflicted thoughts and emotions discourage you from your actions. You are free In Him to take the pause you need. Pray, pick up your bible, nap, and rest in God. It's important to remember that we belong to God and not to man or the world and all its adversity, and God belongs to us. It's genuinely heartening to uncover such a beautiful thought! Our spirits are also raised by it. We have faith in Jesus, correct? As we go through the ups and downs of life, our faith in God guides us and gives us the strength to take each step forward. While I know it is a step that is emotionally draining at times. We rely on His control and find solace in surrendering our hearts to Him, and the stages get so much easier as His joy fills our hearts.

In this light, reading John 7:38 becomes much more than we can imagine in our hearts. Jesus says, Come to me anyone who believes, and drink... Rivers of flowing water flow from His heart. In this passage, Christ refers to the Holy Spirit coming to those who love and believe in Him. Secondly, He expresses His eternal love, providing us with the Kingdom of God. I still get goosebumps when I think of him saying this to His people as God the Son, Who is human.

By keeping our attention on His Words and promises and expressing gratitude and praise to Him, we can begin to feel His presence again and again. It's necessary to dismiss any false thoughts that may distract us from His direction. Come to a sister or brother if you need them to help. He brought us together for a reason.
As a result, we can hear and experience tender shifting in our hearts and minds. We hear whispers and His words of affirmation, a song, an evident truth that your heart will be relieved, an easier breath, and a new beginning to the moments moving forward.

The Holy Spirit is like flowing and living water, serving as our Advocate for comfort and counsel.

My Family in Christ, may our cups brim with blessings and abundant hearts one day at a time as we follow Him.

In His Love, Kristie
