Trusting in God veils His peace swiftly. ❤️

Trust is confidence, reliance, or resting of the mind on integrity, honesty, justice, friendship, or other sound principles.

Peace is freedom from agitation or disturbance by the passions, as from fear, terror, anger, anxiety, or the like; quietness of mind; tranquility; calmness; quiet of conscience. It’s heavenly rest and harmony.

When we truly believe with our hearts, we are reconciled and acknowledge we have His favor and utmost love —His peace is received with His gentleness in rest.

The Lord heeds rest (Old Testament called the Sabbath) in the highest manner. It is another gift directly from Yahweh.

Grace made us children of God, and that is our inheritance. Children require rest, among many requirements. If you believe that God loves you, you will believe He loved you before. Primarily work, stewarding, serving, giving… plus everything that children are privileged with.

The Father loves you before you do any work. He delights in you because of what Jesus has accomplished for you. This may take time to get your head and heart around, but when it does, it is restoration.

If rest is a privilege provided to us by our Abba Father, why do we struggle with it?
Because the world expects us to be identified by our work and in what we do.

This could not be more untrue.

We believe we are the source of who we are and what we have! We are not. God is our source of everything. He created us. He knows how we should function and will. He knows who we are.
If He says rest, then rest, take a sabbath. It’s not just a good idea. It’s an act of obedience.

Learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and ye shall find rest to your souls.
Matthew 11:28.

For you have not as yet come to the rest and to the inheritance that the Lord your God is giving you. But when you go over the Jordan and live in the land that the Lord your God is giving you to inherit, and when he gives you rest from all your enemies around so that you live in safety, then to the place that the Lord your God will choose, to make his name dwell there, there you shall bring all that I command you: your burnt offerings and your sacrifices, your tithes and the contribution that you present, and all your finest vow offerings that you vow to the Lord. -‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭12‬:‭9‬-‭11‬ ‭ESV‬‬
